Tesco and Sainsbury’s issue urgent recalls of potentially dangerous foods

A number of food products have recently been recalled for fear that they could harm anyone who consumes them. Tesco has issued two product recalls where items are thought to contain metal.

Sainsbury’s has also issued a recall, due to an undeclared ingredient. The ‘Taste The Difference Pesto Swirled Hummus’ contains milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

The recalls, issued by the Food Standards Agency, aim to ensure customers are aware that the products have a problem with them, making them unfit for sale. the Food Standards Agency issues “Product Recall Information Notices” and “Product Recall Information Notices” to inform consumers and local authorities of food-related issues.

The stores apologized for the inconvenience caused. Anyone affected can return the product to the supermarket where it was purchased and receive a full refund.

Tesco Chicken and Vegetable Soup

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency

Tesco is recalling Tesco Chicken and Vegetable Soup with Croutons from the marketplace because it may contain small pieces of metal. The possible presence of small pieces of metal makes this product unfit for consumption.

As a precaution, Trewithen Dairy is recalling a lot code of its unsalted butter, as it was found to contain high levels of E.coli.
